Mindful Mental Wealth

A FIVE WEEK PROGRAMME FOR TEENS (12-17)

There is a huge focus on the mental health of teens and young adults right now; a lot of attention on body image, eating disorders, self-harm, depression and bullying.


Sadly, there is little focus on the positive; resilience, strengths, self-compassion, managing stress, building positive relationships, physical and mental WEALTH!


This program will help to change the language and the mindset of whole person health, specifically, how to prioritise happiness and hope.

HOW THIS COURSE CAN HELP


Young people are under immense pressure and are living in a world where image takes precedence over individuality, where competition is promoted and a world in which digital connections allow little time for space to simply be; to connect with simple sources of joy and happiness.


Discussing current issues and using PPIs (Positive Psychology Interventions) in a forum that is completely without judgement can be a powerful and effective way of creating behaviour change and elevating individual resilience and joy.

WHO IS THIS FOR?


This programme aimed at 12 to 17 yr olds who might need:

  • a boost of confidence,

  • a little help in coping with the stresses of school or life, or

  • a toolkit to elevate their happiness levels.


It operates as a small group, facilitated by myself, over Zoom at a regular time each week. Groups are thoughtfully created after reviewing each participant’s personal statement.

ABOUT ME

I am an ex-secondary school teacher, a mindfulness teacher and have recently completed a Masters in Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology. Under my new business model, Positive Projectz, I will be working with schools and businesses to promote happiness, wellbeing, resilience, and hope.


In the current environment, online facilitation offers everyone the best protection for this programme.

SESSION DETAILS AND COST


The sessions will run either Monday evenings at 6pm or

Sunday mornings at 11am for five consecutive weeks from 21st of February.

As this is a pilot programme, to be launched fully from Spring, I am offering the course at a reduced rate of £125

 or £25 per session.
